This premium quality grade A glucose syrup is perfect for making fondant, sugarpaste, marshmallows, toffee and much more. You can also add glucose to modelling paste and modelling chocolate to add extra stretch.
Glucose syrup, also known as corn syrup, allows you to control the formation of sugar crystals in frozen cakes, desserts and confectionary items.
Please note, that glucose syrup is derived from the starch in grain (including wheat) which requires the addition of sulphur dioxide (E220) as a natural preservative. Sulphur Dioxide gas is bubbled through the glucose when still hot, so it is only present in tiny trace quantities – it is not classed as an ‘ingredient’.
